Euro 2008 ( Stellar Spain! )

" It is a great feeling, we cannot believe what we have achieved. You watch these European competitions on TV and you want to be a part of it- and we were " - Fernando Torres, after scoring the only goal in the final

Spain. What more can i say about them? They are simply superb in the final and redefined football. They outplayed Germany and overshadowed the likes and powers of Germany key players. The Germans set the bar high at the beginning of the match, but it was until the thirty-third minute when lethal Fernando Torres scored his goal to give Spain the lead til the end.

Plus, the Spanish has a strong 'defense wall' which seemed rather solid- the experienced Puyol! On top of that, they have the best goal keeper, captain Casillas which he was in his peak in the final. Their midfielders are undoubtedly great and spectacular, always threatening the opposing team. With these, Spain hands down deserve their win after a dry, quiet 44 years in the dark! And now, they're back, shining.

Cheers to the Spanish coach, Luis Aragones!

The first goalkeeper, as captain, to lift the trophy!

And so it is, the Champion of Euro 2008 is Spain!

Looking at them winning and lifting the trophy, i've discovered another meaning of life- success comes in great team work. The Spanish has very good communication skills on the field and to watch them pass the ball effortlessly to another player makes them simply splendid. They also seemed to have the connection with their coach, which makes them even better.

Actually, i'm a little down now that the Euro 2008 is over- i've been watching almost every day and i miss the late nights, i don't know why. Anyway, wc08 is thrilled that the team he has been supporting finally clinched the title.
