Season 5, Episode 1: On my way...

" Private victories precede public victories. "

" Inside-out means to start first with self- to start with the most inside part of self- with your paradigms, your character, and your motives. " - Principle-Centered Leadership, Stephen Covey

Filming of Season 5 begins...

It's almost the end of the second week since the semester commenced. To tell you the truth, i have been wanting to blog about my first week but i was terribly busy. Weekdays, there were meetings to attend to, tasks to be fulfilled. Yet, despite the hectic first two weeks, i'm liking it. Liking it a lot. But becoming the President of ELC and the Student Advisor of HOT, i need to step up my pace.

As for weekends, they are my personal escapade.

Back to the first week, my friends and i had to select and arrange our timetable- something we detest often. Whenever the time clashes between classes, we have to negotiate for a new time slot. Sometimes, we need to rush for a place for our lab sessions or tutorials. They're on a first come, first serve basis.

Since it was the first week, we had been much relaxed and having said so, we fled to Ipoh after our class ended at 10 on Thursday. First of the list was the karaoke session. A mixture of Chinese and English songs, we had extreme fun holding the mic. Later, it was dinner at McD. Well, you may be wondering why of all places, McD in Ipoh. It wasn't just McD, but their new GCB on the menu that strike my attention, and of course, my wallet. It was tasty, really, but rather expensive.

Dinner done, SALT next. About the movie, i've nothing much to comment since i didn't expect much from the movie except for Angelina J's great acting and the chasing scenes following 'Who Is Salt' in the trailer. It does have an effective suspense element to keep you wanting for more, some twists and turns along the way to break your predictions and thrilling action scenes. No doubt, it was the jumps from one truck to another that excites me the most.

Returned to uni after the movie, spending almost 12 hours in Ipoh, and surely a hole burnt in the pocket. But it was worth it. It wasn't like i do this every time, especially when the semester really begins.

The second week was the Minggu Mesra Kampus, MMK for short. It's the time when all clubs and society in my uni opens a booth to attract and recruit new members. Somehow, this MMK drained my energy and by the end of the day, i'm worn out. Yet, because i have meetings to attend, i saw myself stealing time, sometimes just 30 minutes, to nap! And i didn't have much time for myself. I vow to jog at least twice every week (You may be saying that that's too few, but its the best i can do to fit into my schedule and weekends are excluded) but until today, it had been twice- one for each week.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining. I like doing what i do now, and Second Year- it's a whole new challenge! wc10 is on his way there...
