With my cousin's graduation party and my uni's Tapestry of Colours in MPO, all the more reason for me to get back to KL for the weekend!
On the other end- going just briefly, studies in uni have been getting tougher, although somehow i have already expected it to be. But with lecturers that are 'faster than a speeding bullet'- quote Superman's car deco in my sis' car, what's the rush and sometimes i do get lost in the middle of the lecture. This has to stop. I really need to focus. Need. To. Focus.
But i have so many other plans too... Juggling each ball with proper timing, i sense this semester is going to be another great ride of challenges, so much so that i look forward even more for the weekend to escape.
Back to the weekend, Tapestry of Colours was alright. MPO looks smaller than i thought it to be but surely, it was grand. The performance was alright, too. The singing was rather long and draggy but the dancers' costume were beautiful. OCM did well too, though i missed out on the 'Warisan' piece. Needless to say, it was my first time in MPO and sharing it with my uni friends for my uni's event, it was, cliche as it is, nice.
After the show.From KLCC, dad picked me up and went straight to my cousin's dinner party. Congrats SY once again for your graduation! And thanks for the 'makan'. It was delicious, scrumptious and full!

With the cousins on stage for a photo shoot.Following dinner was a round of bowling. Rusty, really rusty. My shots were out of target and even if there was, it was lacking the oomph in the shot. No strike, pathetic of me, not even once. May be it was the alcohol that entered my bloodstream. Whisky's good.

After the dinner.Entering uni, i have watched so many movies. New ones, old ones. It's one of the past-times to do here, so don't blame me. This post, i'd like to review two movies: Leap Year and Repo Men.
Leap Year is a romantic comedy and it was entertaining to watch. The same sort of feeling when watching The Proposal. And Amy A looks prettier in this movie that i could remember, and her character is fun to watch when paired with Matthew G. It has an interesting take on an Irish tradition, about the ladies proposing to their boyfriends on the 29th February. As the poster goes, 'it is not her boyfriend', the storyline becomes predictable but again, i'd like to stress, is how the progress is, not the final result. Somehow, Ireland seems to be the place for romantic shows these days, taking PS I Love You, in consideration. The setting of the movie is beautiful, especially on the cliff, and made me want to visit the place once day. Good watch, at least it has a happy ending.
Repo Men, on the other hand, has one of the most ridiculous ending. It was useless, pointless and absolutely unnecessary. The ending is like the Inception movie but without it's real strong dream foundation to it. So, i'll review this based on the movie before the last five minute or so. Jude L looks different in this movie too. I've never watched him play lead roles in an action movie, and i consider this movie a sci-fi action and he does well in the role, along with the rest of the cast. Repo Men is set sometime in the future, where failed organs can be replaced with new, mechanical ones. But it comes in a hefty price and those whose payments are overdue, the Repo Men hunts them down. The storyline is interesting- how the repo man enters his own world of being the hunted and struggles for a way out. Those who are watching this, i recommend you to switch off at the last five minutes.
